Abstract
Caffè Letterario "La Galleria" in Cefalù, with texts by Gianni Braghieri and Marcello Panzarella, photos by Santo Eduardo Di Miceli. Grafill editionThis work aims to show how, through the architecture project and the method it requires, it’s possible to transform many urban realities.
The intervention gave people back an area that previously appeared abandoned and ruined returning to the circle of everyday experience a space where architecture becomes city.
In February 2008 on the occasion of the INTERNATIONAL AWARD PASQUALE CULOTTA (International Architecture Award to the Opera prima and to the Client), the project gets the first place and it’s awarded by the Council of Architects' Orders Landscape Planners and Conservatives of Sicily.
In this publication there is an essay by Gianni Braghieri, a very important architect and a theorist of national and international fame, with whom I collaborated on several occasions and I am grateful to him for his teachings during my youth.
